\nLeaving Zlatibor, just a few kilometres away lies Drvengrad<\/strong> (a wooden town), a village quite unlike anything you’ve seen before. It is the ideal, fairy-tale village of the renowned director Emir Kusturica<\/strong>, inspired by the filming of ‘Life Is a Miracle’. Unique, doll-like wooden houses; streets and squares with one-of-a-kind names such as Federico Fellini, Bruce Lee, Ernesto Che Guevara, Nikola Tesla and Maradona; and a life-size statue of Johnny Depp, who attended the unveiling in person. Careful! In this village you can find almost everything… except Coca-Cola, which is banned outright! Finally, as you head down from the picturesque village, don’t miss the Sargan 8<\/strong> a railway line whose route traces the number 8 \u2014 something unique in the entire world. In fact, scenes from the film ‘Life Is a Miracle’<\/a> , while the train that runs the route keeps its old, stately appearance with well-kept wooden seats, wood stoves, steam locomotives and so on.<\/p>\n
